“Rewind those Ski’s, it’s all gone Retro!”

When hitting the slopes this winter, rewind to the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties for the ultimate in celebrity ski fashion inspiration. The alpine looks sported by Bridget Bardot, Princess Diana and Sophia Loren define the retro dress code to tap into now. From fuzzy moon boots to Seventies-inspired alpine knits, this is the season to invest in ski wear with a retro edge.

There are few things more exhilarating than conquering the slopes, but whether you’re a first time skier or more experienced you need to protect yourself against the elements with some good quality ski gear. You never know what the weather will throw at you so be prepared. If you don’t want to spend too much on layers then I would recommend using gym wear and splurge out on the outerwear & accessories. Think innovative fabrics, dense layers, unexpected colour palettes and creative accessories. Below we have created a fascinating fusion of function and fashion.

There is a huge variety of choice when it comes to skiwear. I always love to buy a few pieces while I’m in resort depending on when you go. If you go during the Easter Holidays in April it’s coming to the end of the season so there are some great bargains to be had! Alternatively,if looking for skiwear on the high street give TK Maxx a try. They have a great selection of skiwear pieces in store at discounted prices. Other local stores that I would recommend would be Horace Barton, Regent Street, Cheltenham, Snow & Rock in Bristol, Molemi in Chipping Campden for Ski Boots & Sweaty Betty Online for super stylish skiwear that will elevate your mountain look giving you confidence from the first run through to Apres Ski!
